Interactive certification tools

Interactive tools

Four tools to quickly orient your certification project. Each takes two to five minutes and produces a practical recommendation adapted to your case. No tool replaces a technical audit, they give a first direction.

Each tool follows the same logic:

  1. A few structured questions about your product or project
  2. An oriented result, not a definitive answer, but a direction to explore further
  3. Links to the site's detailed pages to dig into each point

Recommendations are based on official texts (CE, RED, FCC 47 CFR directives, PTCRB programs) and AESTECHNO experience. For a concrete case, a customised audit remains essential, the tools do not cover special cases (hybrid products, emerging technologies, derogations).

  • CE pillar: European marking, applicable directives, procedures
  • RED pillar: radio equipment, articles 3.1-3.3, cybersecurity
  • FCC pillar: US certification, 47 CFR Parts, FCC ID
  • PTCRB pillar: North American cellular certification, operators
  • Comparison guides: CE vs FCC, dual certification, timelines, costs
  • Glossary A-Z: ~70 terms defined and contextualised
